SalesPilot AI: Designing a Unified AI Sales Workspace
The project gave a growing sales organization a single AI-driven workspace to monitor buying signals across thousands of accounts, prep reps for every call, and turn scattered CRM, email, and calendar data into one live pipeline view. Sales reps had been manually researching leads across LinkedIn, news sites, and spreadsheets, with no consistent way to prioritize outreach or trust what the CRM actually said. Today, every rep works from the same AI layer that scores leads, drafts outreach, and keeps account context current across the whole team.
Goal
Sales reps were spending hours a week manually researching accounts across LinkedIn, news sites, and funding databases before every outreach attempt, with no consistent way to prioritize which leads actually mattered. Deal context lived in scattered inboxes, spreadsheets, and CRM notes that rarely matched what was said on a call. Managers had no forecast visibility beyond static CRM reports, and reps prepping for meetings had to piece together account history from memory rather than a reliable source of truth. The goal was to design a single workspace that closed all of these gaps without adding complexity to a rep’s daily routine.

Outcome
- A unified workspace across 7 modules — Dashboard, AI Sales Assistant, Lead Intelligence, Conversations, CRM, Knowledge Base, and Settings — replacing a fragmented toolset with one connected product
- Pipeline value grew to $4.82M, up 12.4% quarter over quarter, following launch of the redesigned lead-prioritization workflow
- 1,284 qualified leads generated, an 8.1% increase, as the new Lead Intelligence interface surfaced buying signals reps could act on immediately
- Win rate climbed to 34.7%, up 2.3 percentage points, from reps entering conversations with complete customer context for the first time
- A 4-week design-to-launch timeline, moving from planning through developer handoff without a scope reset
- Two distinct personas designed for — sales managers monitoring team performance and account executives working leads day to day — validated through user interviews before high-fidelity design began

Client & Product

SalesPilot AI is an AI-native sales platform built to give revenue teams a single workspace for lead intelligence, deal execution, and pipeline forecasting. The design engagement focused on turning a set of powerful but disconnected capabilities — AI lead scoring, a sales copilot, unified conversations, and pipeline analytics — into an interface two very different users could rely on: a sales manager who needs a clear read on team performance, and an account executive who needs to move fast between leads without losing context.

Key Challenges Solved
Disconnected Sales Tools: Sales teams relied on multiple platforms for CRM, communication, lead research, and reporting, making daily workflows fragmented and inefficient. A centralized platform now combines CRM, AI Sales Assistant, customer conversations, lead intelligence, and analytics into one seamless experience.
Manual Lead Qualification: Identifying high-value opportunities required significant manual research, causing teams to miss potential leads and waste selling time. AI continuously monitors customer signals, scores leads, and recommends the best sales opportunities based on real-time data.
Limited Customer Context: Sales representatives often entered conversations without complete customer insights, making it difficult to deliver personalized communication and close deals efficiently. Real-time AI recommendations, meeting preparation, CRM summaries, and automated follow-ups now help teams make faster decisions and improve customer engagement.

Business Value & Key Features
AI-Powered Sales Dashboard
The dashboard provides a centralized overview of the entire sales pipeline, combining AI-powered insights, performance analytics, and real-time business metrics in one workspace. Sales managers can monitor revenue trends, qualified leads, deal progress, and customer activity while receiving intelligent recommendations to prioritize high-value opportunities.
Sales AI Workspace
The AI Sales Assistant acts as an intelligent copilot throughout the sales cycle, helping representatives prepare for meetings, respond to customer inquiries, and automate repetitive tasks. By combining conversation history, customer context, and CRM data, it delivers personalized recommendations and actionable insights in real time — generating follow-up emails, summarizing discussions, and preparing proposals so reps can focus on building relationships.
Lead Intelligence
The Lead Intelligence module helps sales teams discover and prioritize high-value prospects using AI-powered buying signals and real-time business insights. Lead scoring, customer data, and outreach recommendations are centralized in one workspace, enabling faster and more informed sales decisions.
Sales Collaboration & Workspace
Conversations, company knowledge, and AI-powered assistance were brought into one connected workspace to support collaboration and communication across the sales team. The platform also provides flexible workspace management through customizable settings, AI automation, and third-party integrations, helping organizations streamline daily operations and improve overall productivity.

I used to spend my mornings pulling numbers from four different places just to know how my team was doing. Now I open one dashboard and I already know who needs coaching and which deals need my attention. The design didn’t just make things prettier — it changed how fast we can actually act.
